Ed Blackburn, a Wake Forest University graduate has been associated with the Machine Tool Industry for almost thirty years, working in different phases of the business, including tooling, grinding, EDM applications, to name a few. Basic philosophy, whether working with very large companies or small one man job shops is to make sure everyone is treated fairly, and gets the most value for their investment. I was born in Newport News, Virginia and am a graduate of Old Dominion University with BS in Physics. I began selling machine tools in eastern Virginia in 1988 and have spent all but two years since then getting to know the manufacturers in the region and providing solutions to meet their requirements. I have worked with EDM, grinding, gear manufacturing in all aspects, contact and non-contact inspection, and traditional milling and turning. I strive to find the best solution for my customers' needs which sometimes means sending them to a competitor. I really enjoy what I do and hope you will rely on me for your manufacturing needs.
