We are pleased to offer Haas customers a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program carried out by our Haas Factory Certified Service Engineers. Protect your Haas investment and maximize your productivity by utilizing locally available Haas factory-certified professionals to keep your machine in the best possible condition. The following items indicate the many key points addressed at every preventive inspection:


Mechanical System
Check machine level
Verify spindle sweep
Check gear shift operation*
Check spindle lube and air blast
Check spindle orientation alignment
Check shot pin operation*
Change gearbox oil
(Customer supplies Oil)
Inspect drive belt
Inspect and adjust tool changer system
Inspect spindle taper condition
Inspect way cover wipers
Check draw bar height
Inspect rigid tap encoder operation*
Check tool change operation
Clean/lubricate tool changer
Inspect counterbalance system and recharge if needed or applicable
Inspect lines, hoses and cables

Way Lube System
Clean filters
Inspect lines and fittings
Check operation
Verify lube/pump operation

Coolant System
Remove/check pump and motor
Air System
Clean filters
Check pressure/adjust regulator
Inspect system for leaks

Electrical System
Clean electrical cabinet
Check voltages
Inspect connections/terminals
Inspect grounds
Check limit switches/safety locks
Clean brush dust*

Lathe Only
Verify turret/spindle alignment

Optional Special Services:

Ball Bar Calibration — Tests circularity and verifies the positioning accuracy.
Vibration Analyzer — Verifies machine vibration against established criteria.

// The cost does not include any additional parts, labor or shipping cost that may be incurred for
actual repairs. If any repairs are necessary the customer will be advised in advance for the
issuance of a purchase order to cover parts and labor.

// PM's are scheduled in advance by the Haas Factory Outlet.

// It is recommended that PM be performed every 1000 hours of run time.

// Customer to dispose of all fluids. All chips must be removed prior to service.

// All fixtures and tooling are to be removed by customer prior to service. If not removed, the
items that can not be completed will be noted and the service will be considered completed.

// The service performed does not guarantee the machine will not require service in the future.
